🤔 Apple is delaying AI features
In anticipation of the iPhone 16s release, Apple is planning to ship at least 90 million devices in the latter half of the year, about 10% more than the 81 million iPhone 15s they ordered in the second half of 2023.
Why so many?
Apple believes that its AI services, infamously named "Apple Intelligence," will be able to boost demand after a challenging 2023.
There’s a slight issue, though; it isn’t actually ready.
💬 Apple Intelligence is an artificial intelligence system that (will eventually) make sure your Apple devices work smarter together.
Ahead of today's oddly named “Glowtime” event, Apple announced delays for several of its key AI features, including:
The highly anticipated ChatGPT integration.
Apple Intelligence, which won’t be available in the EU or China at launch.
AI tools for summarizing notifications, improving writing, transcribing phone calls, and new image-generation tools.
It’s hard to sell people on a device that doesn’t have the features you promised, but hopefully, Apple Intelligence will be ready for the iPhone 17 next year.
💬 Tim Cook & company officially revealed plans for: iOS 18, iPhone 16, AirPods (Gen 4), and the Apple Watch Series 10.

💰️ OnlyFans is making bank
We just found OnlyFans’ earnings, and the company is going straight to the moon.
I’m gonna explain what OnlyFans is because I know that you guys would never know about this site if we didn’t explain it.
OnlyFans is a subscription-based platform where creators share content, often NSFW, with paying fans.
Creators can also post exclusive content on fitness routines, cooking tutorials, music, art—really anything.
But most people know OnlyFans for what some have so eloquently called, 'rich people porn.'
Pardon my French.
All right now that you’re caught up, let’s dive into those juicy numbers:
Engagement numbers:
305M users (+28% YoY) 📈
4.1M creators (+29% YoY) 📈
Financial boom:
$6.6B in gross payments (+19% YoY) 📈
$1.3B in revenue (+20% YoY) 📈
$485M in profit (+20% YoY) 📈
And their owner, Leonid Radvinsky, has earned over $1B in dividends over the past three years.
Talk about raking it in.
TECHNOLOGY
❓️xAI partnering with Tesla?
xAI partnering with Tesla? According to the Wall Street Journal, xAI, Elon Musk's AI startup, has discussed a potential partnership with Tesla.
The deal would have Tesla use xAI's AI technology to improve some of their popular products.
Talk about crapping where you eat, Mr. Musk!
But wait, not so fast….
According to Musk himself, this hypothetical partnership isn’t actually happening.
It isn’t the first time Musk has disputed the claims of a legacy media company, and it certainly won’t be the last.
But do we believe him this time?
Well, in the Tweet, Musk made some good points as to why this move wouldn’t make sense:
“Tesla has learned a lot from discussions with engineers at xAI that have helped accelerate achieving unsupervised FSD, but there is no need to license anything from xAI.”
“The xAI models are gigantic, containing, in compressed form, most of human knowledge, and couldn’t possibly run on the Tesla vehicle inference computer, nor would we want them to.”
So, it’s a no-go then, I think. But just for the sake of it, let’s explore what a collaboration could look like.
What would Tesla want from xAI, anyway?
Well, the WSJ wisely predicted that xAI's AI models might be specifically used to improve Tesla's self-driving technology.
And self-driving has been on Musk’s Christmas list for a while now.
The billionaire is extremely bullish on self-driving, seeing it as a key to Tesla's future success.
The issue is that Musk has been promising fully autonomous self-driving technology for eight years and has so far failed to deliver.
💬 In July, Tesla's board considered making a $5 billion investment in xAI.
💬 xAI may also develop features for Tesla, including voice assistants and robot technology for Optimus.
💬 Tesla announced it wants to launch its Full Self-Driving (FSD) product in Europe and Asia early next year, pending regulatory approval.
